  32. Description:

  34. Thumbnail is a picture cataloguing application which produces
  35. thumbnail versions of pictures and allows them to be viewed in a
  36. similar fashion to the standard RISC OS filer (including directories).
  37. It also allows descriptions of the pictures to be attached to
  38. thumbnails, and searches can be performed on these descriptions
  39. (allowing easy access to a selection of thumbnails sharing a common
  40. theme). It also makes a note of the location of the original file, and
  41. allows easy access to it (simply drag the thumbnail picture to another
  42. application, and the other application will be supplied the full
  43. pathname of the original file).

  45. Thumbnail can handle any picture format known by ChangeFSI (which it
  46. uses, and thus needs access to) and also Draw files and Artworks files
  47. (allowing a catalogue of clip art to be created).
